Chao Li

Prior to join Volexion as a Battery Material Scientist in 2022, Chao earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of Illinois at Chicago where his researches focused on the design and the development of protocols to implement characterization methods of XRD using microbeams to investigate local electrochemical phenomena and maximize performance of cathode materials and solid state electrolytes for lithium ion batteries. He also earned his B.S. in both Chemistry and Business Administration and Management from University of Massachusetts Boston in 2014. In his free time, he enjoys most outdoor activities and volleyball is his favorite sport.
